What Inspired You to Join AB Health & Fitness?
A co-worker brought me along to the gym. I wasn’t feeling great about myself or my body, and I was quite skeptical about joining another gym because of past negative experiences. But I decided to give AB Health & Fitness a try.
Taking that first step despite doubts shows real courage.
What’s something you’ve achieved or noticed lately that you’re really proud of?
“After coming back to the gym following some time off, I noticed my fitness levels hadn’t completely deteriorated. I’m proud that I actually missed coming to the gym and working out. Showing up and putting in the work has now become a part of my routine.”
That feeling of missing the gym? That’s a true sign you’ve made it part of your lifestyle.
How has being part of the AB community made a difference in your life?
“Not only has my fitness improved, but I’ve also made friends. The community at AB Health & Fitness is unlike any other gym I’ve been to. The support from everyone keeps me motivated and striving for more.”
Community makes all the difference — it’s the heart of AB.
What’s your favourite class or movement — and why?
“I’m a big fan of circuit training. I love a session that works your whole body and includes a range of different exercises—both the challenging and the rewarding!”
Circuit training is a powerhouse for full-body fitness.
What helps keep you coming back, even on busy or tired days?
“The people. The staff and members are amazing and genuinely want you to succeed. That support becomes infectious and makes you want to show up.”
When the community lifts you up, showing up becomes easier.
Has anything surprised you about yourself since starting at AB?
“Yes! I’ve learned how driven I can be. When I set a goal and focus on it, I can succeed, even if it’s a long-term goal.”
Discovering your own drive is one of the best surprises.
How do you feel walking out of the gym after a session?
“Sometimes it really hurts, but I feel good about myself—like I’ve accomplished something.”
That ache is the badge of hard work and progress.
If you could describe AB in three words, what would they be?
“Positive, supportive, addictive.”
