This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Jasmine and her inspiring journey of transforming her health and fitness at AB Health & Fitness. After joining the Life program, she has been focusing on her goals, building strength, and enjoying every moment in our energetic community.

What first brought you to AB, and how were you feeling before you started?

“My mum started the Life program, and I came along to support her. I ended up joining a 6-week challenge, and I haven’t looked back. I was ready to start my health and fitness journey and take control of my wellbeing.”

Jasmine’s journey began with a desire to improve her health, and taking that first step set the stage for her incredible transformation.

What’s something you’ve achieved or noticed lately that you’re really proud of?

“I’ve lost a total of 25 kilos with the help of Wegoovy weight loss injections, exercise, and eating the right foods. I’m really proud of my determination and hard work to reach this milestone.”

Jasmine’s focus and dedication show the power of consistency and commitment in achieving health goals.

How has being part of the AB community made a difference in your life?

“The AB community has made a huge difference because I’ve made lifelong friends, gym buddies, and it’s always a fun environment when working out. I also love when Cotton is at the gym to greet me—it’s the little things that make it special.”

Share a fun or unexpected moment you’ve had during a session.

“I love it when I remember a Zumba dance because Kim enjoys seeing me get it right!”

Those moments of laughter and shared enjoyment keep motivation high and workouts rewarding.

What’s your favourite class or movement, and why?

“My favourite class is Zumba. I love dance workouts because I have a background in dance and calisthenics, so I remember routines really well.”

Jasmine finds joy in combining her skills with her workouts, making each session both fun and effective.

What helps keep you coming back even on busy or tired days?

“The members I work out with are amazing—if it wasn’t for them, I probably wouldn’t be there. Their support keeps me showing up even when I feel tired.”

A strong community and accountability make it easier for Jasmine to stay consistent.

Has anything surprised you about yourself since starting at AB?

“I’ve surprised myself with how hardworking, determined, and resilient I can be, especially during the COVID lockdowns when we had to move to Zoom workouts.”

What’s a small win you’ve had lately that felt big to you?

“Moving more easily since losing weight has been a big win for me, even in small everyday tasks.”

How do you feel walking out of the gym after a session?

“I feel tired but energised. It feels so good to move and push myself—it’s worth it every time.”
