Why we love it
This meal combines several key components of a balanced meal:
Protein: Chicken and Greek yoghurt help increase the protein content and support muscle repair and recovery.
Carbohydrates: Rice and beans provide carbohydrates to help fuel your training and daily activity.
Fibre: Beans and vegetables add fibre to help keep you feeling satisfied.
Healthy fats: Avocado adds healthy fats and extra flavour.
Make it your own
The best thing about a bowl recipe is that you can easily change it depending on your preferences.
Try swapping the chicken for lean beef, salmon or tofu. You can also use brown rice, quinoa or another grain instead of white rice.
Want some extra heat? Add jalapeños or your favourite hot sauce.
Making lunch for the week? Prepare the chicken, rice and vegetables ahead of time and assemble your bowls when you’re ready to eat.
